IRISH DANCE SUMMER CAMP FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS FROM BEGINNERS LEVEL ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO OPEN LEVEL! THE SWEENEY-MCAVINCHEY SUMMER IRISH DANCE CAMP 2023 IN LANDSTUHL, GERMANY IS PERFECT FOR YOUR DANCER WHO WANTS TO EXPLORE ONE OF THE OLDEST FORMS OF DANCE THAT ENTERTAINS AUDIENCES WORLDWIDE WITH ENERGETIC FOOT MOVEMENTS. WE JUST DON'T TEACH DANCE BUT IRISH CULTURE, SELF CONFIDENCE, SELF DISCIPLINE AND AN UNDERSTANDING FOR MUSIC AND DANCE.

Cost : Monday to Thursday
New Beginners / Beginners: 9.30am - 12 noon 80 euros for 4 days ( 25 euros a day)
Beginner 2 /Primary heavy shoes: 12.15pm - 2.30pm 100 euros (30 euros a day)
Inter/Prelim/Open: 9.30am - 4.30pm - 230 euros (65 euros a day)
Adult class on Tuesday evening: 7pm - 8.30pm (need a minimum of 8) 20 euros.
Classes will be taught by fully qualified TCRGs and ADCRGs that are vetted and have been passed to teach by CLRG (the governing body of Irish dance in Dublin,Ireland.) If numbers are high, assistant champion dancers will help in classes.
Classes will include learning Irish dance steps, fitness, fun, stretching, singing, learning Irish language, arts and crafts, family ceili evening with a chance to see your dancer perform.
New beginner dancers can wear old ballet shoes or socks to start their lessons. We do have some used Irish dance shoes if they wish to purchase them beforehand. They can also purchase new shoes online too, just let us know and we will give more details.
All dancers should wear shorts and t-shirts or comfortable workout gear and bring a water bottle. Dancers can bring a healthy snack too, please let us know of any allergies.
We will have themed days like Disney day, Silly day, Ireland day and Beach day. Arts and crafts will be based around those days.
